Golf Course Cart Path Lifting
We were contracted by a local golf course to repair around 150 areas of concrete on their 6-mile cart path. We used resin injection to stabilize and lift slabs, fix trip hazards, fill cavities, prevent settlement, and add many years of use to areas that were otherwise destined for replacement. Because the cart path is inaccessible by truck and trailer, we used our mobile concrete lifting system, housed on a 6’ x 8’ utility trailer and pulled by a UTV. This system allows us to service difficult-to-reach areas while ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding installations.
A cost-analysis of resin injection versus full replacement indicated that the golf course’s maintenance dollar went 4X to 7X further when using resin injection instead of replacing the concrete. Because the injection process is quick, clean, and requires very little downtime, almost zero disruption to the business or flow of golfers occurred during the course of the project. Overall, resin injection offered a great maintenance solution for the golf course cart paths.
