Residential Foundation Stabilization
This home was experiencing significant structural issues, including visible slope of floors, windows and doors that had moved so far out of square that they would not function properly, significant cracking in the basement slab, and masonry cracks on the chimney. We installed 7 helical piers to underpin the chimney and compromised basement wall, as well as three columns on the back of the home that supported finished space and the roofline above.
The structure lifted approximately 1.6 inches back to original position, squaring several windows and doors and closing up the main crack in the basement slab. Cavities formed underneath the foundation as a result of the lift were addressed using resin injection to fill all empty space and ensure foundation stability in interior areas. This robust combination resulted in a permanently stabilized foundation that our customer never has to worry about again.
